It is prepared from several bhasma that contains precious minerals. Bhasma such as Tamra Bhasma, Swarna Bhasma, Rajata Bhasma, Mukta Bhasma, Pravala Bhasma, Loha Bhasma, Abhraka Bhasma is used to prepare Kasturi Bhairav Ras. All these bhasma are sharp and hot in potency.
